Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (8:00 AM – 9:00 AM) • A must-see landmark; stunning Islamic architecture and one of the largest chandeliers and hand-woven carpets in the world. • Dress code: Modest attire required (long sleeves, long pants/skirts, headscarf for women). 2. Royal Opera House (9:15 AM – 9:45 AM) • Elegant marble architecture and cultural hub. Short visit for photos and a quick look at the interiors. 3. Muttrah Souq (10:00 AM – 10:45 AM) • Traditional market with spices, frankincense, silver, souvenirs. Great for a quick cultural dive and some shopping. 4. Muttrah Corniche Drive + Stop for Photos (10:45 AM – 11:15 AM) • Scenic waterfront with views of dhows and the harbor. 5. Al Alam Palace & Forts (11:30 AM – 12:00 PM) • Official palace of the Sultan (exterior only), flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts: Al Jalali & Al Mirani.. Optionally, savor traditional Omani cuisine at Rozon restaurant and Ramssa Omani Restaurant.
